Emily Huang has been practicing architecture since 1991. Prior to opening Huang Iboshi Architecture in 1998, Emily worked with William Turnbull Jr., an architect renowned for his work in Bay Area Regionalism. She received her Master of Architecture Degree from MIT and was the recipient of the Francis Ward Chandler Prize in 1991. She holds Master of Construction Management and Bachelor of Architectural Design degrees from the University of Florida.  Emily has taught architectural design at Boston Architectural Center, Boston, MA and The Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA.. She is a registered architect in the state of California and is LEED AP accredited.
