Los Altos Hills Residence

Sitting amidst a historic orchard in Los Altos Hills, this new home for a young couple honors the history of the site while embracing their future as the next long-term inhabitants on this property.

The driving force behind the design of this house is establishing strong connections between the interior and exterior, while creating inspiring spaces for their family to thrive in the years to come. The design of this house is about maximizing natural light and blurring the lines between the indoors and outdoors.

Tall ceilings and strategically placed windows and skylights allow for the enjoyment of natural light and surrounding vista throughout the house.

The result is a house that successfully fits in the landscape and acknowledges the history of the property. The residence seamlessly navigates a delicate balance between built and natural forms and will offer an exceptional living experience for many years to come.
